My Sister’s Holiday Home …

A week ago I was in Cleveland where my sister’s historic home was on the town’s holiday home tour. What fun it was to see her place dressed in Christmas finery from top to bottom! Hundreds of community members toured the home with the proceeds going to charity.

It took the eye of one talented designer to see that Melissa’s home was the perfect canvas for Christmas décor and the tour – cozy, warm, inviting, and already decorated with a beautiful mix of traditional and eclectic items.

Two designers came in and added to what Melissa had already done in the home.  I took loads of photos – over one hundred!  Here are twenty-five for your viewing pleasure.  Enjoy my sister’s holiday home . . . and dream of a house where every room, right down to the bathrooms, gets a little something special for Christmas.

I thoroughly enjoyed having you, Audrey & the Queen there to help me. It was a surreal dream-like experience and I'm so glad you captured it with your eye for detail. I love you.

Melissa, You have that eye for classic beauty and design just like dear Victoria and Samantha! It's all in the family. What a lovely home! Thanks for sharing with your community and with us! Merry Christmas!

Wow, Melissa's home looks amazing! I love the details: the door wreath, the news paper Christmas tree and other little trees on the third photo, the combination of the word JOY + white reindeer + green nutcracker, also that deer, pinecone and Christmas ball ornaments inside glass (sorry, I don't know the word for that... How is it called?). I really like too the snowed pinecones, the little nest on the table with the word "Hallelujah" and obviously that Christmas tree!!!

Melissa's house looks like the place to be to feel that Christmas spirit! And I agree with the comment above, she also have yours and The Queen's talent with design.
