When Life Imitates Art …

thinker

In 1902 Auguste Rodin cast his now world-famous statue The Thinker. You know what he’s thinking, right?  “Where did I put my clothes.”

Fast forward to 2012.  I think my youngest might have an appreciation for the arts. What do you think?

This is what happens when a little boy is promised a bath and then a long phone call takes his mom away and interrupts his plans.  Cartoons in the buff.

I quickly grabbed my camera because my Owlie reminded me of The Thinker. Except more pale. And much cuter. And without the rock to sit on or helmet hair.

This little fellow of mine gives me so much to smile about.  I hope he puts a smile on your face today as well.

I’ll be taking the next few days off to focus on family and the holiday.

May your Thanksgiving be full of loved ones, gratitude for blessings and copious amounts of pie!

Your thinker is thinking "Cartoons without clothes are the best!"

I am thankful for you and your thinkers!

Why do little boys love to be naked? I think he would be cold but no he doesn't seem to be.

hahaha this post is hilarious! And Owlie so cute!!!
I agree with the Queen Vee, my first thought was: "wasn't he cold?" and I'm someone who usually doesn't feel cold.

I hope you had such a great Thanksgiving weekend!

This made my day! It reminded me of a picture Rachel took passing the Rodin museum a few years ago that she titled "The Thinker's Crack." I guess we can say art appreciation is alive and well around here too :-)
