As a fresh faced nineteen year old at BYU I was beyond excited to vote in my first Presidential Election. I remember grabbing my jacket and my roommate’s arm. “C’mon! Let’s go vote!” I said. Her simple reply: “Oh, I’m not voting.”
I was too stunned to answer back. I went and cast my first ballot alone.
If you read this blog, I hope you’ll do me {and you} a favor. Please go and exercise your right to vote today. I don’t care who you vote for. I’m voting for that man in the picture above because I believe he will do a better job than our current President. Whether you agree with me or not, you should go make it known.
Don’t sit at home and make excuses about being uninformed or unmoved by the candidates. Don’t blame it on a lack of time or lack of desire.
This is our country I’m talking about. And you have a say in who runs it.
GO AND DO IT. JUST VOTE.

Heading out to vote in an hour.
I was at the polls from 6:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and voter turnout was phenomenal!
Great voting day here in Ohio!
Bob and I attended the Romney rally at GMU yesterday. There were as many folks inside the Patriot Center as were outside. We were fortunate to be in the first group. We cast our votes early just in case a tree fell on us or there was a lightning strike took a shiny to us or the old "hit by a bus" mishap might come our way. So, today, here we are unscathed and thinking it it odd not to be at the polls.
I love your patriotic spirit in support of this great democratic opportunity of ours and am certain all of your fine readers are voters, too.

I've never understood those that don't feel like voting. I was like you the first time I could vote. I was so excited, but unlike you I had my parents to go with since I was still living with them.
If I don't remember wrongly, it was a referendum for the European Constitution, not really an election for a president, but I was excited that I could make my voice be heard.
In November 25th, there are elections in Catalonia. So soon I will get to vote again! :D
