A Little Something For You …

I’ve been writing about my life, my hobbies, my family, my randomness, my inner thoughts and all my other weirdness for almost five years on this blog.

Sometimes I write to create a history.

Sometimes I write because funny things happen with/to/because of my kids.

Sometimes I write to share my creativity.

Sometimes I write to vent.

Sometimes I write to bare my soul.

And then there are many, many times when I decide that I am done writing because I have nothing to say and it doesn’t really matter anyway because only my mom and sister read what I write and I could just call and tell them on the phone.

But I don’t ever seem to be able to stop writing. And it’s because of you. So thank you. Thank you for reading my blog. I care about you.  I feel a connection with you.  I think about you.  I am thankful for you. I don’t say that nearly enough.

I hope you know that sometimes I simply write for YOU.

And every day we are thankful that you write for whoever. It's a pleasure to read whatever you write.

The top comment is from your dad who tried to log me out of google and failed.

Even though you could share with me all you write about via a phone call, you wouldn't do it nearly as eloquently as you do via your writing and there would be no pictures included with a phone chat.

I'm greatful that you exercise and use your gift of writing daily. It's like writing a letter, something one can read over and over again or refer back to....don't stop. Use it or lose it has more than one meaning, it applies to your talents and also your thoughts and memories.

Just writing as way of journeling makes you're blog efforts extremely worth while, the fact that you share it with others is a blessing and a bonus for the many people who read your blog daily but never comment.

I read your blog everyday and love it! I am sorry that I don't post more often to let you know that there are a lot more of us reading your blog then just your mom and sister! Thank you for sharing your talent with us! Among many other things you are funny, uplifting, and a builder!

Don't stop writing. Call me any time though.

Love you.

And your little sister at the other side of the ocean is reading you daily too!!!

I hope you continue to feel inspired to write here on your blog because I just love to read it daily. You inspire me so much, Samantha!!!
And because, as I said some time before, it's mainly my only way to know what's going on in your family (except from facebook that helps!).

I completely agree with what your mom said. {She is such a clever lady!} You could explain her many of these things over the phone. But since you have such a great talent with the written word, you should make the most of it. And in doing so, all your readers (which I believe are quite a few) and your kids in the future can enjoy it too!

Hugs and kisses!

No, no, thank YOU! I'm not your mom, or your sister, or related to you in anyway. We've never met. You wouldn't know me from the next person if I was standing right next to you, and yet I find myself coming here daily hoping for a new post from you no matter the topic.

You've got a great perspective on things, take beautiful photos, have great ideas, and I'm secretly waiting for you to post tips on getting the binkie away from a certain toddler ;).

So no, thank YOU for continuing to blog!
