Oh man. I just got the best mail. Ever.
When mail comes from Amber Fawson of Giverslog it is going to be good. Real good. And this just happened to be chocolatey good, so it was like a double bonus.
Last week I learned that I had been selected to taste test some of the Ticket Kitchen’s new flavor possibilities for their Ticket stick hot chocolate. First of all, I don’t ever get selected for ANYTHING. So Yay! for me. Second, I adore hot chocolate more than any normal person should, so it would not be an understatement to say I feel like I won a warm mug of lottery.
As soon as I officially knew I’d be tasting, I called my two partners in hot choclate snobbery – my mom, The Queen, and my SIL Audrey. Both love hot chocolate, both have discriminating taste and both were excited to join me for a night of sampling delicious gourmet hot chocolate.
We had four flavors to sample, each one wrapped in craft brown paper with a darling label. Yeah, I’m swooning.
The samples came as loose chunked chocolate which we stirred into hot milk. It was, in a word, divine!
I’m excited to send off our comment card to Amber. I’m even more excited to see which samples get picked for the Ticket shop.
Thanks for the opportunity Amber. It was so fun to be a part of your team!

Thanks for the invite to be a hot chocolate taste tester.
Thanks for not posting a picture of me.
Did you noticed I didn't mention salt, not even once?
It was a delicious tasty experience made even better by sharing it with you and Audrey! Mmmmm good!
Chocolate in the mail.
That would make anybody's day.
Nice surprise!
Do tell, what flavor did you like best? And, how were the mints different? The kids and I had hot chocolate for the first time the other day when it felt like autumn had arrived at our house with a beautiful crisp morning. My personal fave is hazelnut cocoa.
Bells, I'll tell you are faves after Ticket Kitchen has made their final selections! Honestly, though, they were all so yummy!
Lucky! Awesomeness .
