I feel like I’ve been a downer lately. And I don’t like it. So sorry about that.
Yesterday I ran my boy over to the high school after his cross country race to grab his backpack. While I waited for him in the parking lot, God gave me this view as a little reminder that he loves me and is aware of my struggles.
It took my breath away. Cars sped by. Kids hopped in cars. Football practice carried on as normal. And I just sat in the car thinking about how even when times seem dark and stormy, His light and love still find their way into my life.
I’m a lucky girl despite my recent challenges. So grateful. So blessed.

It can be more challenging to find those moments when you're not feeling well or you're facing a seemingly insurmountable problem.
Or...
Those moments are easier to see because God makes them more obvious. He comforts those who need comfort.

If you really look, the cup is always half full. You are beyond lucky, you are highly favored. Sometimes when we are overwhelmed with the challenges of daily life we kind of forget how blessed we are. It's great when we get a reminder and ever better still when we recognize it.
Sigh. I need more of those "coming to Jesus" moments in my life too. Giddyup on your date nights, savor it.
