It is Thursday. Tomorrow we leave for the beach. I am not ready.
I am deaf in one ear. I have to speed off to the doctor’s tomorrow morning before our departure to see if I’m just losing my mind or actually my hearing.
I had a massive allergy attack last night and could not get up this morning because I was drugged with Benedryl. Owlie sat next to me on the bed and watched Curious George for two hours. Shameful mother.
Owlie rolled his own arm up in car window today. Excellent. He cried long enough that we had to miss our last music class. Waaaaa!
A vending machine ate my five dollar bill today while I got the oil changed in the van. Owlie was not happy that the M&Ms didn’t come out. I just wanted my stupid money back.
I am blogging at 3:00 in the afternoon – a departure from the norm of writing at night and posting early in the morning. It’s just one of those days.
I need to be at the beach right now. I need to decompress. I need to relax. I need to feel like those leaves in that picture look: bursting with color, full of life and REFRESHED.
