Remembering . . .

Laurie2

After a remarkable weekend hearing from a living Prophet and other inspiring leaders of our church, we awoke this morning to learn that the children’s elementary school principal passed away last night after a tough battle with pancreatic cancer.

All three of my school aged children have flourished under her direction and administration. She was a lifelong educator, a kind and nuturing woman who had a way with small children and a wife and mother.

We will miss you Mrs. McDonald!  God bless you.

So sorry to hear those news...
For your kind words and this sweet pictutre, she seems she was a great person and teacher.

Sad news indeed. Teachers and principals are heroes...and so are moms and wives.

Mrs. McDonald was also the driving force behind the wonderful Veterans Day performances by the Evergreen Mill Pythons for those 40 or so of us who were honored to sit each year on their stage. She introduced each one of us by name, service and years wearing the American uniform. A military brat herself, she was truly a Great and grateful American! May God rest her soul and comfort her family.
