It’s wacky hair day at the elementary school today. We love wacky hair day! This year is Hannie B.’s last wacky hair day and she wanted a duck in her hair. We teased her up real good, attached a duck and threw in a curl for good measure. She was walking around like the Queen of Sheba this morning, her posture perfect, her sprayed coif standing firm. I guarantee she’ll have a sore neck or a headache by day’s end.
The RedDog, on the other hand, is a little bit limited in what he can do with his hair to make it wacky. Basically we just look to my older brother Chris for wacky hair day inspiration. How is it that he is almost forty and still pulls off wacky hair?
I told RedDog we’d work him up a “ChickenHawk” just like his uncle’s. He giggled but was game. I sent him out the door looking like this:
All he’s missing is the severe sideburns. Oh, and the attitude. But you can’t buy that in a bottle.
So another Wacky Hair day comes to an end. I’m going to miss doing Hannie B’s hair. Girl hair is definitely the most fun to wackify. Previous Wacky Hair Days here, and here.
Ps. Please forgive horrible lighting. Mornings here are dark.

Coincidence? I think not!
Great hairdos! It must be really fun to have Wacky Hair day at school. Never before besides your blog hear of it... it's not something common in Spain but I totally would like to have it.
