Ollie has been with us for nineteen months. He’s busier than ever. I need to keep a record of his accomplishments since he’s adding to his arsenal almost daily. At nineteen months he:
- Doesn’t want to sit in a high chair anymore, preferring to kneel on a big chair instead.
- Feeds himself, making a colossal mess EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
- Stands at the back door and calls out “squirrel?” while looking for his favorite back yard friends.
- Wants to watch Blues Clues and talks about letters, mail, clues and Steve all day.
- Knows that all the adults in our house are “Dada” and all the children are “Hannah”.
- Clings to my legs whenever he thinks I’m going to leave to go somewhere.
- Loves real doggies and kitties {aack!} and playing with stuffed animals.
- Can build a very legit lego or block tower, which he will promptly destroy.
- Says lots of words, like juice, milk, want, please, love you, ball, uh-oh, no no, yes, good, night night, dog, cat, bath, up, down, in, off and on.
- Makes funny faces like his Daddy.
- Joins us for prayers on his knees with his arms folded.
We all love Ollie! He is the light in our home. The Hubby and I sit and stare at him while he sleeps, marveling that God saw fit to send us one more little spirit to care for. He’s a gem!

19 months? The time is just flying past in a blur!
I love the last picture with the spoon to Ollie's temple. He looks like a mystic using his special spoon to predict the future.
He sure is a gem!
Oh how time flys, can't believe he's nineteen months already!
Dada,
Obviously you're doing lots of things right; he seems completely healthy and happy to me!
Darling, darling boy! Keep holding on to every single moment.....even the messy ones!
He's got me hooked around his little finger.
Oh I bet he is so cute when he says Squirel too! My kids say it a lot too, after watching UP. He's a handsome little guy.
