Do You Ever Wonder . . .

IMG_8909

How my crazy boot boy is doing? Well, in this photo he is attempting gymnastic feats while watching the most recent episode of Blue’s Clues. All four of the Lee kiddoes have been fans. {Personally, I’m solidly in the Steve camp. Joe’s fine, but he’s lacking the dry wit of Steve.} All this to say that Ollie acts as if there is no boot at all.  We go back to the doctor’s for follow up x-rays on Wednesday and then we’ll be back to normal around here. Who am I kidding? It’s never normal around here!

Do you ever wonder what really goes on here? Do you ever want to ask me a question and get a real honest answer?  Well, now’s your chance.  Just leave a comment on today’s post with whatever you’d like to ask me and I’ll answer it.  Try to be nice, though.  No meanies allowed.

Answers tomorrow! {If anyone asks a question}

Updated the photoblog today.

Here is a question I have always wanted to ask you and am so glad I get the chance! Please pick me!

How do you make the leap from home made (deadpan: You made this yourself, didn't you?) to handmade (disbelief: You made this yourself?!) Could you please give a few tips for a beginning crafter?

Also, does Ollie go thrifting with you and how does he feel about it?

You always seem to get so much done around your house with projects and such? With my two year old around, I can't seem to get anything done? How do you do it? Does he take long naps???

I love that you put your best foot forward on this blog, seeking to inspire and encourage others. But I also really enjoy posts where you give us a behind the scenes look at how your mom/wife life can be messy, disorganized and, sometimes, chaotic. All this leading up to the request:

Give us another glimpse into some of the goings-on in your house on an average day.

If I'm not wrong, I think you lived in Germany (Heidelberg?) for some time a long time ago.
Here my questions: Why was that? For how long did you stayed there? What are your memories? What are the differences between living in the USA and Germany?

So, I guess I would like to know a little more about your time here in Europe...

Can we see your basement re-do already and did you ever get that slipcover lady's name for me?

That photo of Ollie is priceless. He does seem totally unaffected.

My question is Ollie still attracted to women with dark hair? =)

This might be too personal but you've documented here about your sister (from finding out you had a sister to your reunion and beyond) and it seems like you two have really bonded. Has the transition from 3 siblings to 4 been as easy for the rest of the family?

The photo for this post made me remember a q. I have for you. I'm considering buying some some white IKEA slipcovered chairs for our family room (similar to yours!), but it makes me worry that w/4 kids they'll be dirty and stained in no time. How do you keep your white/light slipcovered furniture looking good? Would you recommend it? Or do you regret it? I don't want to have to stress about it.

Oh, I have a question for you! As my girls are total little piggies and don't care in the least about taking care of things, least of which, their room, do you have any tricks for instilling cleanliness in kiddos? Nate is so clean, tiding, and independent, but I am learning it was inborn and not my doing. I need lots of help with the girls!

Do you have a "set" blogging time each day? If so, is Ollie under foot??
