We're off to whisk our kids on a surprise trip to this place before Christmas. I'll skate a figure 8 for you in Central Park. Hope the next few days are joyous and productive for all you !

(p.s.-- you might want to have HB open her gift from me before you go, if you get this before then... I just remembered you're going to American Girl... I don't want her to get something twice by accident! :) I know it's a long shot that she would, but just in case!)
I get to NYC about once a year visiting friends. The Central Park Zoo and Am. Museum of Natural History are my favorite places to go with my daughter. I also like walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. The day before Broadway shows, you can go to CheapTix and get $25 seats to matinees. Just saw the Lion King last spring. It was enchanting.
