Gettin Our Foobaah On . . .

These pictures are now two weeks old, but I thought I'd share anyway.

We're definitely loving the return of fall weather, the return of a long sleeved shirt and a light jacket and the return of foobaah (football). The boys get out in the street after school and toss the football with their friends and a certain neighborhood dad. There in the middle of it all is a top notch punter (Big C) and my little princess, Hannie B, who can outrun all the boys and throw a perfect spiral.

We took the kids to the local high school to see a game that one of our church youth was playing in. They had a great time, especially when their dad took them to the concession stand. But Big C was totally into the game and hanging out with his 5th grade friends looking cool. It totally freaked me out to see him there and think he will actually be in high school in only four years! What am I going to do?

While I'm on the subject of foobaah . . . has anyone been checking out my dear BYU and their top ranked team this season? (calm down Matt, I know you are.) We're feeling especially lucky this year that so many of the games are televised out East and the Hubby and I wrap up in our BYU blanket and cheer our little hearts out. Go Cougars! Yay Foobaah!

(Who is BYU?)
Love the pictures-it does stink to think about the kids growing up...

Love that all three kiddoes are smiling in the one pic. Big C isn't quite a teenager yet (hence the smile in the pic)...so enjoy all those ball throwing moments to the fullest!

tobi,

you just gotta say it the right way . . . "foobaah" like a crazed man who loves his sport. I don't know why I call it that, I just do.

ruby red,
BYU is Brigham Young University, my alma mater, and their football team is currently ranked 7th or 8the country . . .feeling a little proud! :)
