My sweet nephew Sam
One day shy of three
The victim of tickles
Still laughed happily
A guest in my home,
you came to have fun
but a cute little smile
is now "minus one"
I hope you'll forgive
your clumsy Aunt Sammy
and keep right on smilin'
despite the big whammy!

Sink me, she's a Poet and I didn't know it.
Nice.
I'm glad you got out the camera while there was still blood. That's the mark of a good blogger right there. Well - and a good aunt. You have to preserve these moments for posterity, especially when they are smiling. ☺
It looks like he's long since forgiven you.
Sam looks so cute with that missing tooth and doesn't seem to mind posing for the camera! Cute poem, only you!
Ouch! What a cutie. :)
This poem will be in a scrapbook for Samuel to laugh at when he is older.
It's was bound to come out at any time but at least he will be able to blame it on you and not me like Chris and the race car tracks.
I love the poem!!!! Funny that he was unfazed by what happened and at only 3 years old thinks it's cool that he's missing a tooth.
Go figure.
A
So....I want the story behind the poem!
Samuel has an adorable toothless grin, that's for certain!
I love the poem.
