The Boob Crew . . .

Here's a picture the Hubby snapped this morning of me and my three amigoes after our last training walk before the big Avon Walk next Saturday! I think we all look a little tired because we just finished another 12 mile jaunt around the neighborhood, which began at 5:00 AM!

These women are amazing to me. They took my challenge to do the walk and have totally blown me away with their dedication and enthusiasm. I have really loved every minute walking with them. Our conversations are always interesting and fun. I'm so glad I didn't have to get ready for this alone.

And now for some very, very exciting news . . . we just found out this week that Linnea (oh yeah, the one we're all walking for) signed up to do the walk herself! She raised her money in under two days and joined us for the first four miles of our walk this morning. She will most likely do a very modified version of the entire walk, but major props to her for doing even one mile. As they say at the Avon Foundation, "We walk because we can." I'm really proud of Linnea, and of the entire Boob Crew. Way to go ladies . . . and here's to the sistas.
