Devoted …

It would appear that my kitchen sink has sprouted legs.  Good looking, freckly legs.

This was the scene at 11:00 at night one day last week.

The man I married is a real good sport.  He folded his six-foot-one frame in half like a contortionist and wiggled his way into a too tight space just so I could have a new faucet.

Our nine year old faucet had been leaking for two months.  In the past week the dripping had reached a fever pitch and even with my lame hearing, it was driving me mad.

Then the Hubby tried to fix it. And he ended up breaking it.  So I couldn’t do dishes because we had to turn the water off.  The paper plates only went so far and a Mount Everest of dishes started forming in our sink.

I rushed off to the Home Depot and found a faucet I liked that didn’t cost a million dollars. It was basic, good looking, and without many bells or whistles. When it comes to faucets, I think I’m a no frills type of girl.

The faucet sat on the counter for days because the Hubby was BUSY. But he finally had time at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, so he climbed under and I became his number one assistant {Think: “Wrench! More light! Hold this, please!”}.

All this to say that I have a very devoted, hard working Hubby who loves to make me happy.  I think the new faucet is dandy and Chef Pig agrees.

PS. If you think I took all the dirty dishes out, stacked them on the counter and then cleaned the sink for this picture, you’d be one hundred percent correct.

Very nice. Very nice.

The legs aren't bad either.

The HUBBY is a very good, hard working and talented man. Love him, he's my very favorite son-in-law in Virginia.

It's always handy to have a man willing to do these kind of cores...
Nice faucet too, I like it.

HA HA HA HA! I love your post script. I do clean the house for pictures too. Maybe I should take pictures of my house everyday. Then it would stay clean. Food for thought.
