Um, this picture might very well make it into the Best Smiles Ever Hall of Fame.
A few weeks ago we hit one of the biggest “Neighborhood Wide” garage sales in our town. House after house had offerings large and small to tempt those driving by.
We focused on the small and picked up the tiniest set of Nike golf clubs for Owlie Boy. He has been smitten with them ever since. He stands at the back door each day and proudly informs me, “I go play with my colf glubs now!” That’s no typo. He actually calls them colf glubs.
We’ve made an investment in bright orange plastic whiffle golf balls which he will sit and attempt to hit for almost an hour straight.
Sigh.
The only thing better than seeing him love something so much is seeing him love to do it with his dad and brothers even more. RedDog has become his golfing companion of choice and I welcome the camaraderie it has fostered between those two.
And look at that smile on his face. I’ve locked it up and put it straight into my heart for safekeeping when I need it on a blue day. Or I can just come back here and stare at it for hours.
Best $7 we’ve spent in a long time.

This picture is priceless! It's so cute the way Owlie is smiling... Sure he is enjoying it!
It so nice when this kind of things happen, you spend just a few $ or € (in my case) and that thing becomes a fav! The best of two worlds!!! :D
Love the little mugger although he only loves me when I'm baby sitting. Maybe I should take up .......no, golf just isn't my thing.
