Yesterday it poured rain. Not ideal weather for a tropical vacay. We chilled at the house for a bit chatting politics in our PJs, watching lightning and munching on breakfast.
Eventually we decided that the rain wasn't going to stop and it wasn't going to stop us.
We ventured to two beaches, both practically deserted. We watched pelicans dive bombing for fish. We swam in the ocean which was warmer than the rain.
The rain never really stopped and we went right on having a grand old time despite the stormy weather.
When we finally got home the sun decided to make a brief appearance and gift us with THE PERFECT RAINBOW.
I stood in the outdoor shower staring at the rainbow thinking about life and the gray skies that come our way. We can choose to let the gray skies determine our course or we can find joy despite the gray. In the end I hope you have a rainbow.

A-mazing!
Wow!!! What an unbelievable rainbow. Glad your trip is going well.
Rain is needed for rainbows. No way around it.
It looks like you landed in Oz.
I think I haven't seen a more beautiful place in my life...
Now I have another place on my list of places to visit and it's so long that I think I'll die before even achieving half of it!
Enjoy it!!!
Now's here's questions for all: Why does a rainbow arc? What determines the radius of any given rainbow? Are the colors always arranged in the same order? What causes there to be two rainbows at once?
Inquiring minds want to know...
Beautiful!!
WOW!
"For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies;
For the love which from our birth,
Over and around us lies;
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This, our hymn of grateful praise."
