It was at the last minute that I realized I hadn’t sent out invitations to our neighbors, friends and family for RedDog’s baptism. With little time to make something and a brain that was zapped of all creativity, I relied on something I already had: RedDog’s silhouette!
I simply added crisp white text with all the pertinent information and a scripture about baptism at the bottom. RedDog loved the invitation. I liked that it had a visual image of him for all those we invited to see.
I’m tucking this copy of the invitation into his memory book along with the cards of congratulations he received on his baptism day.

I thought the invitation was quite striking. Never would have known it was an example creative repurposing. Nicely done!
Lovely, as always. Nicely done.
So dear friend, are you going to tutor me in the silhouette process when you come my way this summer?! Love it and have always wanted to do this for my kiddos.
