A Tribute To P-Dub . . .
At the beginning of November I mentioned that I was going to spotlight my Top Ten Favorite Blogs. I hope you've had a chance to go check out Nie Nie's blog. If not, I recommend this post, which is an amazingly written news article explaining the Nielson's plane crash and all they've endured since that fateful August day.
Today I'd like to introduce you another amazing blog called The Pioneer Woman. I have to give quick credit to Shar Anderson who tipped me off to this blog a few years ago. It has delighted my days, tickled my funny bone and stimulated my taste buds ever since.
Ree Drummond is the read deal. She's sincere, she's generous, she's hilarious, she's talented, she's self-deprecating and she's beautiful - plus she's a home-schooling, ranch man handling, seriously good food creating stay at home mother of four children.
She may just be THE woman who put blogging as a profession on the map for SAHMs. And somehow she makes it all look effortless. But instead of hating her for it, I can't help but love her to pieces. She gives glimpses into her life on a cattle ranch with kids, cows, dogs and horses running everywhere and at least 98.7% of the time I laugh my head off reading about it.
I love The Pioneer Woman's blog because it always makes me feel happy. And we all need a little more happy, don't we?
I highly, highly recommend reading this little story here {give your self a good few hours, because you WILL get wrapped up in it} about how she met her husband Marlboro Man and ended up leaving the big city for life on a cattle ranch in the middle of Nowhere, Oklahoma.
I also recommend checking out her delicious recipes, including step by step photo instructions for even the rookiest of cooks!
Now I've got to get back outside with my kids to build the world's greatest snow fort . . . in case you didn't hear, we got TWO FEET of snow on Saturday, cancelling school on Monday and Tuesday and sending all the little Lee children to their happiest of places. Heck, who am I kidding? It's my happy place too because we're days away from a delightful white Christmas!

I can't wait to ck out her blog...I love being inspired by other at-home moms who are amazing. I'll try not to hate her too.
Don't you love when the kids play for hours in the snow? The best ever winter activity. Merry Christmas!!

Mia's place is so charming and calming.
I am so glad P Dub was NOT Pee Wee Herman. I was seriously wondering why you would blog about him!
Love her...love her book. Made 16 pans of her sinful cinnamon rolls to give away, but I could keep them they are so good!
