On My List . . .

It's always fun this time of year to make a little wish list of items ranging from the somewhat reasonable to the completely outrageous in hopes that some {or all?} might end up under the tree. Here's a large portion of my list for 2009:

New charms for my sterling silver charm bracelet, including this owl to remind me of my little Owlie. This movie on DVD. Of course I already own it, you sillies, but my copy is VHS {embarrassing} and I'm pretty sure the scene with wet Darcy is about to bust due to constant rewind.

This cookbook. If you don't know who Ree Drummond is, then we need to have a chat. Better yet, I'll save you the chat and write a blog post completely and utterly devoted to her on Monday. Come around for it. You won't regret it.

This little black dress. It's from Shabby Apple - a ridiculously stylish AND modest dress line {while I'm at it, I'd also like this model's legs and awesome short haircut}.

This phone {which falls in the longshot category}. I already know I am NOT getting it because my sweet Hubby wants me to remain in the dark ages forever, unconnected to my entire family of Mac users with their fancy iPhones. Waaaaa . . .

This wall of built-ins {which should magically transport itself into our office/library/music room}. What? I might as well end with something so out there it makes the Hubby {my Santa} laugh!

What's on your Christmas wish list? {don't say world peace.}

Such a lovely list. I have to admit, I never wanted one but Ryan's iphone is AMAZING. I hope you get one. Also, I LOVE the Shabby Apple dress. It's darling and I can totally picture it on you. So fun. I hope your Christmas morning is magical (even if all your wildest wish list items aren't under the tree).

I think your "out there" wish is totally doable given you FIL and hubby's carpentry skills and your speed painting abilities. Maybe that could be this year's big spring project!

P.S. Hubby, just put a gallon of primer and a box of nails under the tree.

P.P.S. I'm still rallying for the very cool i-phone option. Rally, rally!

I hope you get the iphone, that's the one I'm rooting for. Come on Hubby, your women deserves to be spoiled this year!

I secretly long for an iPhone as well but I think the price of the service that goes with the fancy phone is beyond expensive.

There is only one item I really long for Christmas and it's totally outrageous. It's a Sony DSLR-A550. Which translates to super duper camera with capabilities I yearn to command and harness!

I love my P&P VHS set. It's just more fun to scream "put in the next one! put in the next one!" after each 50-minute tape, because you just can't stand to wait to watch it all. Or, watch one per night.

Tell that husband of yours you NEED an iPhone. I can't believe I lived without one for long. Or, get made RS Pres, so you REALLY need it. VITAL.

If I were rich that would all be yours!! except the legs and hair, yours are great as they are.

You've been very GOOD this year so I'm sure Santa will reward you accordingly! :-) My SIL just entered a design contest for Shabby Apple. You should see her designs. They are on my blog under the link smithfamilymusings. She is amazing!

Now you put out the wish list just as the biggest snowstorm in a million years hits Virginny.....hmmmmm!

Thank goodness there's after Christmas shopping opportunities.

I don't know what this comment means.

I just love that dress too! But what I really want (and desperately need) is a new slr camera. I need to get out of the dark ages of photography with a major upgrade!

I hope you get some (if not almost all) of your fun list. I'm intrigued by this pioneer cook...

I really love the shabby apple dress. And those shoes. Can we talk about those shoes?

The Pioneer Woman is one of my favorites. I use her website all the time, but I long for her book. I showed it to my hubby while reading your blog. Lets see if he delivers!

We would have the same list. Although I own the cookbook already.
