The Champ . . .

Guess where we spent our weekend? At the ball field, in the blazing heat, cheering this little chica on! Big C was involved in his own game and a party, so as long as I kept feeding RedDog icee pops and water, we were good to go.

The Firecrackers were playing their arch nemesis, The Ponytail Posse, for the 10U Championship game and it was a real showdown. Equally matched in talent, these two teams also met last year in the finals, with Hannie's team taking home the dinky consolation trophy. But not this year! These gals played their little hearts out despite the heat and look . . .

Now, despite my complete objection to all things shiny, large, fake metal looking, plastic and purple, the girl has a HUGE trophy to put in her room and show to every guest that enters our door! Way to go sis - and congratulations on being selected to play on the All-Star team . . . we already knew you were a star!
