If you've ever found yourself wondering, "What does the Lee family do for fun?" - today's the day you find out! Our kids were out of school both Monday and Tuesday of this week, so we halted all the frenzied house projects (resumed since the whole China thing is a total limbo issue for us right now) and spent two days doing fun things with our kiddoes. Included on the "Agenda of Fun" were the following (with pictures!):
Bowling with Papa Ken
High point: My highest score ever - a 115! ( tied with watching the RedDog huck the ball at a snail's pace down the lane.)
Low point: The Hubby beating me by two measly points!
Trip to Luray Cavern
(4th largest cavern in US)
High point: The most amazing stalagtites, stalagmites and columns ever!
Low point: Learning that until 1971 people could break off pieces of the formations to take home as a souvenier.
Thirty mile trip on famed "Skyline Drive" in Shenandoah National Park
High point: The killer views and great fall colors
Low point: Hearing Chris say for the hundreth time, "When is this going to end? I'm bored!" (That and my hair in this picture . . . what the?)
Lunch at Hardees
(known as Carls Jr. to my West Coast readers)
High Point: Discovering this restaurant for the first time in Virginia and noshing on curly fries.
Low Point: The Hubby spilling his Hardees 64 oz. lemonade all over my van.
All activities were fun and did I mention that we stopped at Jellystone Campground and got our picture with a 12 foot Yogi Bear? Now that's what I call FUN!!!!
