We are into our second day of celebrating the Hubby’s birthday. Yesterday was his actual day. We spent time together as a family. We went to a favorite restaurant for dinner. Then we came home to have a tiny cake with ice cream and open presents. The Hubby wanted to spend the evening playing games, so that’s what we did! Go Fish and Apples to Apples are family favorites right now because Owlie can play them with us.
Tonight The Hubby and I will go out with friends to get Vietnamese food and do some bowling. The Hubby loves bowling. I love being truly awful at bowling. And I think the shoes are cute. It’s going to be a fun night with some really great people.
A funny story to start your weekend off. Here is The Hubby enjoying our seriously off tune version of “Happy Birthday”. He’s already got his wish at the forefront of his mind. The tiny cake has gone from looking picture perfect to looking like it might slide right off the stand.
And then the song ends and who do you think acutally blew out the candle? Insert tiny lips here. Funny boy. Made me laugh that I got that little smacker right in the edge of the photo.
Happy Birthday Hubby. I adore you.

I love that you captured that moment! Some things are too tempting to resist- like someone else's birthday candle. We had a similar event and still laugh about it.
I love two day B-day celebrations and I love that Owlet got caught in the act.
I love the middle picture of Travo. I hope his day was great! My day definitely would be if I had a chocolate cake that looked like that. Yum!
The cake looks like it's dancing! The icing is seriously perfect. I need some icing lessons from you.
