Yay! It was the Mecks! Good thing too, since I spent the first half hour of our drive out West bawling and mourning the loss of my friend. This little meet-up in Utah was just the recharge we all needed before parting ways for a longer period of time. I love this friend of mine.
Her Awesome Ella was there too smirking at me and my ever present camera!
Hannie B reveled in two straight hours of Abby time. Such well matched friends, these two.
And the love of Ollie’s life, Miss Lucy, was there in her perfect polka dots.
These two were so happy to be together again.
RedDog and Chris Meck were off an running the minute they were reunited. The playground, splash pad, and a game of baseball – they did it all together. This boy is the perfect best friend for MY boy.
Mr. Tyler had already grown and changed so much in three weeks! What a handsome fella with a mowhawk.
This is what we all looked like for two straight hours. Happy! Thanks Mecks for meeting up with us. We love you!

What a great surprise (or planned visit)! Seeing besties really makes you feel relaxed and brings such joy.
I'm pretty sure spending the day with the Mecks made it even brighter than it already was.

Man, we so love the Lee Family! We are so glad that we got to spend time with you, it was one of the highlights of our trip. For a couple of hours it felt like life was normal and that there was no change...until we had to say goodbye. Miss you much.
